You should look at organizing your contacts, your system for keeping receipts and bills and even how you schedule your day. Get a new day planner and start using it as a tool to do more with every single day!<\/li>\n
  2. Dedicate yourself to Education \u2013 No matter what your field is, or your position in your current company, education helps! Learn more about your field and look for ways to apply your new knowledge. This is not only the best way to stand out in a sea of co-workers, it is the best way to gain an edge over your competitors if you\u2019re in business for yourself.\u00a0 Magazines, books, websites and classes are all great ways to improve your skills!<\/li>\n
  3. Let it go \u2013 If you\u2019ve had some failures in the past and struggled with gaining ground, let it go. Focusing on things you consider failures will cripple your advancement. Write down things you\u2019ve been unhappy about and beside it, write down a single lesson you learned. You\u2019ll see, every down fall has given you a lesson to apply towards a better future!<\/li>\n
  4. Network \u2013 Make it a goal to mix it up this year. Meet new people and share your business and goals with them.\u00a0 You don\u2019t have to join a formal group, just get out there and meet people at expo\u2019s, conventions and any event that has business owners and potential clients. Hand out your card, be friendly and talk with people about their business and your own!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
